The timelines, deadlines, procedures for compling with University OP's and other benchmarks that must be met to remain on track for successful completion of your graduate studies are defined by the Graduate School at Texas Tech and you should check with their website regularly to remain up-to-date on important dates each semester.
The majority of information needed by students to stay on track as they proceed through the Graduate program may be found in our departmental handbook. All students are recommended to read this document and make a note of important milestones that should be met. Again, it is the responsibility for the student to be aware of deadines and the preparation and submission of appropriate paperwork and forms.
Primary Traits Analyses
As part of the Department program review process, supervisors and committee members are asked to submit a primary trait analysis (PTA) document summarizing the professional development of students as they proceed in their degree programs. It is the responsibility of students to provide copies of the appropriate PTA to committee members to complete as appropriate benchmarks are met.
